Then algorithms, then competitive programming, then AI in high school, then a BSc and an MSc in it. The magazine ran alongside all of that rather than before it, I was editing satire and writing code in the same years, and I never had to pick.

The work has a thread through it: a legal tool that cites the line it drew a conclusion from, an image checker that reports when it has found nothing, a recommender with regression checks on every prompt change. I like systems whose output you can go and check.
Day to day I am an AI Research Intern at Bynder, while finishing an AI master’s at the University of Amsterdam. Before that I spent nearly two years at TasteRay on recommendation systems, retrieval architectures and agentic workflows. The coursework has taken me into rotation equivariance in Transformers and knowledge distillation in large language models; my bachelor’s thesis was a cross-attention Transformer for ASD diagnosis from fMRI and sMRI.
Outside that I ship things. CasePulse won the Neo4j prize at Hack the Law in Cambridge. HyperGnome is a GNOME tiling extension I maintain solo across four GNOME releases. GenSnitch and realpls are privacy-first tools for checking whether an image was AI-generated. I lead the AI team at Futurist Law Lab and run the technical side of PixelRiot, Europe’s largest generative-AI hackathon.
The writing has not gone anywhere either. I published a piece in Polityka on whether a machine could be a person, and I put my MSc lecture notes online as I take them.

Part of Bynder Labs. I build prototypes of new approaches out of recent research, run the experiments, and work out which of the options actually holds up. So far that has mostly been evaluating our own pipelines, and specifically our MCP servers.
Designed and deployed a production RAG pipeline for personalised entertainment recommendations across millions of items, running on Cloudflare’s edge stack (Workers, D1, KV, Vectorize, Cron Triggers) with a Next.js front end. Built agentic workflows with multi-provider LLM integration: autonomous semantic routing, query decomposition, and dynamic tool calling. Put the whole thing on Langfuse for prompt-trace tracking, retrieval-quality monitoring, and regression checks on every prompt or retrieval change.
Technical infrastructure for Europe’s largest generative-AI hackathon: registration, the submission pipeline, automated email and the public site. I coordinated $600k+ in API credits with the tool partners and ran on-site technical operations for the kickoff at Varso Tower.
Founding member; I lead the AI team and grew it through sourcing and interviews. Designed and delivered workshops on AI in legal practice, including a session at the European Parliament during the European Youth Event in Strasbourg. Co-organised a law-tech hackathon, and I maintain the organisation’s web presence and technical infrastructure.
WordPress sites for research communications projects, plus data analysis translating quantitative findings into visualisations and actionable insight. Ongoing site administration and platform optimisation.
Weekly tutorials, grading, and technical troubleshooting across AI and computer-science coursework on the Bachelor’s AI programme. One-to-one mentorship for students stuck on hard concepts, and supplementary materials to reinforce the lectures.
Built a chatbot-based platform for a community-engagement research study in Warsaw, and co-authored an internal report on the use of chatbots in local governance.
An informal web agency run with two friends during university, serving small and medium businesses. WordPress sites and small web apps, plus reusable themes and plugins. I managed client relationships end to end and coordinated a freelance network for specialised design work.
Led editorial operations for a youth cultural magazine, from pitch to publication. Managed the editorial team and quality standards across satirical and cultural commentary, kept writing my own pieces, and ran the WordPress platform. Started as a staff writer in April 2021.

Awarded for CasePulse at Hack the Law 2026, on the CMS × Harvey “Pleading-to-Proof” challenge. Modelling the dispute as a graph of allegations, exhibits, witnesses, contradictions and evidential gaps surfaced weak claims and contradiction clusters that flat retrieval misses.
An EU AI Act compliance checker that analyses a GitHub repository and reports where a codebase stands against the regulation, turning a dense piece of law into concrete, per-repository findings.
